17th October – Venice to Lucerne.
There was no avoiding it…we had to get off the ship L
We had a little last minute shopping in Venice ..including some Mureno glass beads before we caught our train to Milan and then onto Lucerne.
I wrote in my diary “WOW WOW WOW !!!!”
The scenery was amazing… mountains…snow caps…waterfalls…beautiful buildings. It was as though the scenery changed dramatically as we entered Switzerland. The train trip took about 7 – 8 hours but we didn’t tire of the scenery.
Our travel agent Peter excelled again…our Motel was so close to the train station and central eateries… and it was perfect.
We loved the AmeronHotel
We were so excited to be in Switzerland…I think we all fell asleep with giant grins on our faces.
